SAT Id requirements for Nepali students.

College Board, which takes SAT has clearly mentioned in identification requirements and policies that the one and only identification is Passport for Nepali students. The same rule applies for students of Ghana, India, Pakistan and Nigeria.

Your Citizenship, Driving License or Student ID card are of no use if you are giving SAT exam in Nepal. 

IF you are planning to give exam of SAT and if you don't have valid Passport, either renew the existing one or make the new one. 

Individual countries have various restrictions that apply to registration and taking an SAT Program test, as noted here. 

Identification restrictions

Students from the following countries must present a valid passport as ID to be admitted for testing: 

• Ghana
• India
• Nepal
• Nigeria
• Pakistan

Remember you will need to wait about 35 days to get passport normally. But you you need in emergency It will take only 1 week.

Advantages of making passport in normal way:

1. It will cost only NPR 5000.

2. You don't need to come to the capital, Kathmandu.

3. Just filling a form with photos in your District Administrative Office is sufficient.

Disadvantages of making passport in normal way.

1. It will take about 35 days which is a lot of time in case of emergency.

Advantages of making passport in emergency way:

1. It will take only 1 week to get passport.

Disadvantages of making passport in emergency way:

1. You need to pay NPR 10,000.

2. You need to come to capital, Kathmandu.

3. You need to be in a long QUEUE while submitting and receiving. It can be upto 3/4 hrs.

Plan early and make correct decision. You can save time and money if you plan early
